First of all, the Happiest of Days to you all. Today is Thanksgiving, which to our family means time with loved ones, lots of food, and appreciation of all that we have.
We are hosting this year, so I don’t have much time – lots of party-readiness to do – but I wanted to pop over here and express my love and gratitude for those things that make my life my life.
First and foremost, my crazy little loud little bright little family… We are the luckiest foursome in the world – lots of laughs, snuggles, reading, crafts, playing, traveling…
It seems Hazel would agree, although I do beg to differ with her on the whole Astrid thing – that wee one is super helpful lately. Sometimes, the help means that the project takes twice the time, but that’s life with littles.
I’m also thankful for time away from family, which I just had this past weekend – a girl’s weekend away to celebrate the wedding of an old friend (not that she’s old, but that we’ve been friends for more years than I care to admit)…
And, I’m thankful for my business. I get to do what I love, and work with women that I love, and there’s nothing in the world like it.
