This shawlette is a comfy cozy hug-of-a-thing that is perfect for those cold Winter days.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: 66″ tip to tip, 10.5″ deep at center – after blocking.
  • Yarn: 300-400 yards worsted- or aran/chunky-weight yarn. I used two skeins of Knitted Wit Worsted Superwash Merino, colorway Tugboat.
  • Needles: Worsted: US8/5mm (or size to get gauge) for knitting flat, or size needed to get gauge. • Aran/Chunky: US11/9mm (or size to get gauge) for knitting flat, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: cable needle, stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: Worsted Weight: 16 sts = 4″/10 cm in garter stitch. 20 sts = 4″/10 cm in stockinette stitch. • Aran/Chunky Weight: 12 sts = 4″/10 cm in garter stitch. 15 sts = 4″/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
