This really IS the perfect knitter’s poncho – fun to knit, warm and cozy to wear. It’s perfect for chilly nights on the couch OR out on the town.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: One size fits most, with adjustable length. 23″ circumference at throat (in modified linen section), 88” circumference at bottom, 21″ long from shoulder to bind off edge. Measured after blocking
  • Yarn: approximately 880 yards heavy worsted-to-aran-weight yarn. I used Imperial Stock Ranch Columbia, colorway Spring Sage.
  • Needles: US10/6.5mm circular needles (32” or larger), and one double pointed needle the same size or smaller, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 14 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
