Skittles Scarf

The Skittles Scarf was inspired by a glance in a bin of Knitted Wit Gumballs in all of the Rock Candy single color colorways. It looked so stinking tasty, and begged to become something playful and fun. Don’t judge my fathomless addiction to these wonderful little bits of rainbow-colored candy…

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: 6″ wide, 76″ long.
  • Yarn: approximately 430 yards total worsted-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Worsted, Prussian Blue (mc, 110 yards) & all the Rock Candy Gobstoppers (cc1-10, 10 colors, approximately 32 yards each).
  • Needles: US8/5mm needle for flat knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 18 stitches = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
