In a knitting funk? Need some immediate gratification? This is a fun, fairly easy shawlette pattern with various textures just perfect to highlight a gorgeous semi-solid yarn. Its almost-half-circular construction sits just right around your neck; add the perfect shawl pin, and you are ready to rock and roll.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Small: 46” wide from tip to tip, 16″ deep at center. Large: 59” wide from tip to tip, 23″ deep at center.
  • Yarn: approximately 260 (350) yards fingering-weight yarn. Shown in Handmaiden Camelspin, colorways Amethyst, Gold, & Moss.
  • Needles: Small: US4/3.5mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge. Large: US5/3.75mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: Small: 24 sts = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking. Large: 22 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
