It’s amazing! It’s Technicolor! It’s a dream (to knit AND wear)! The Amazing Technicolor Dream Cowl was designed to play around with and show off color. Using 15 colors (approximately 40 yards a piece), it’s got a soothing rhythm and knits up very quickly.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Long Loop: 5.5” tall, 33” long unbuttoned. • Short Loop: 8” tall, 27” long unbuttoned.
  • Yarn: approximately 600 yards fingering-weight yarn total, split evenly between 15 colors. I used Knitted Wit Gumballs in 15-colorway sets she puts together.
  • Needles: US4/3.5mm needle for knitting smallish circumference in the round, or size needed to get gauge. If doing magic loop, I’d suggest a 40” needle.
  • Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle, three 7/8″ buttons.
  • Gauge: 24 sts & 42.5 rows = 4”/10 cm in Gumball pattern, measured after blocking.
