Beach Agate Hat

Take a walk on the beach searching for treasures while wearing this fun and simple hat. With a turned hem and a reverse-stockinette triangle detail, this is the perfect hat pattern for highly variegated yarn.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Small/Med (Large/Extra Large): 19 (22)” circumference, 9.5 (10)” from cuff to top.
  • Yarn: approximately 130 (160) yards worsted-weight yarn. I used Malabrigo Rios, colorways Piedras (non-pompom’d hat) & Liquid Ambar (pompom’d hat).
  • Needles: US7/4.5mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: insert text here
  • Gauge: 20 sts & 29.5 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
