Bridges Shawl

This shawl is a tribute to the bridges of Portland, and to one dyer who drives over them (and back over them, and back over them…), the lovely and talented Tina from Blue Moon Fiber Arts.


  • Finished Measurements: 84″ long from tip to tip, 24″ deep at center. Measured after blocking.
  • Yarn: approximately 630 yards sport-weight yarn. I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Mediumweight, colorway ka-POW! pa-TINA!
  • Needles: US6/4mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 16 sts = 4”/10 in garter stitch, measured after blocking.
