I’ve been diligently working at updating all of my patterns and getting them into my new template, and with that comes some re-working and re-tech editing.
Some patterns, like Striae, were published years and years ago, and my pattern-writing style has matured considerably since then. Those were due an update.
Some, like Diamond Tread, were just a tad clunky in their execution, and now that I’ve designed a few more sock patterns for publication, and now that I’m completely and fully re-addicted to sock knitting, I have new insight into the pattern.
So, I’ve tweaked. Added sizing. Updated. And re-knitted. I am proud to say that I’m super happy with this pattern in its new iteration, and have plans to make more for my very own tootsies.
I’ll be sharing information about more of my updated patterns in weeks to come – it may even be a regular thing! Some have been re-knitted and photographed, some just tweaked and re-formatted, and all have been rejuvinated.

I so want this pattern!!! The pictures on the Rav page display two different sock patterns, but the one pictured here is THE one that is the Diamond Tread, right? I am so easily confused! LOL!!
There are two different versions – one all-over-patterned (shown here) and one with a snaking one-repeat pattern on a stockinette sock. Two in one!!!
