The best part about these mitts is how very versatile they are – use a gradient set of six colors, a rainbow set of six, use two or three colors, or go wild and use a variegated skein that’s been languishing in your stash.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Adult small (medium/large): approximately 7 (9)” tall from cuff to tip, 6 (7)” around at base of hand. Measured after blocking.
  • Yarn: approximately 160 (175) yards fingering-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Victory Fingering Gumballs, Rainbow Set of 6.
  • Needles: US3/2.75mm needle for small-circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 30 sts & 42 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round, measured after blocking.
