Falling Leaves shawl kit & KAL

I love my job! I get to collaborate with amazingly-talented folks from all over the land, while trying out new yarns and connecting with new-to-me knitters. It’s really the best. When Lise from Tre Liz emailed me last year about a collaboration, I was all about it. I had been following her on IG, and her fabulously funky aesthetic and super fun and sparkling personality, coupled with her amazing colorways drew me in.

Falling Leaves

From the first time I saw the gorgeous Pan’s Labyrinth colorway from Tre Liz, I knew leaves needed to be in the mix on the finished design. This asymmetric triangle, marrying fun mesh and a leafy border perfectly complements this highly variegated colorway, in a fun and unexpected way. I designed Falling Leaves to highlight the subtle color shifts of Pan’s Labyrinth, and Lise has chosen a few other colors to showcase Falling Leaves in, too. You can order a kit from her through December 19th (free worldwide shipping over 100 euros!), and we’ll be doing a KAL in my Ravelry group starting January 3rd. The pattern won’t be available on its own until after the KAL, in February, so if you want to stash-dive, you’ll have to wait until next year.

Falling Leaves

Falling Leaves is equally fabulous in variegated or shaded solids, and you can make it as large as you want. The pattern is only available as a part of the kit that, depending on the base you choose, is either 50 or 75 Euros. The kits are available from now through 12/19/2016, so if you want to treat yourself or someone you love, hop to it. Her colorways are seriously droolworthy.
