Jazz Age Mitts

These mitts are slouchy and scrunchy and squishy and fabulous. I loved making them, and I love wearing them, and hope you do, too.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Small (Medium, Large). Circumference just above base of thumb 6 (7.5, 9)”, measured after blocking. All sizes are as long as you wanna make ‘em!.
  • Yarn: 175-250 yards DK or worsted-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Victory DK, colorway Tugboat.
  • Needles: US5/3.75mm needle for small circumference circular knitting, or size to get gauge.
  • Notions: cable needle, stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 20 sts = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, measured after blocking. 22 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
