KAL’ing this fall…

I love a good KAL. There’s nothing like being held accountable to ensure you actually work on a project. My life is all about knitting/designing on deadline, so it’s really easy for me to set aside a non-design project in lieu of either more designing, or, more frequently, a sock (because you all know how I feel about socks)…

But, for the League of Busy B’s this year, we’re planning KALs for each release, so we all have a better chance of finishing (and thus being able to wear or gift) each of the League patterns. (As an aside, you can still join the League of Busy B’s, by following this link, OR if you’d prefer to KAL with us on That 70s Shawl, you can get the pattern on its own).

So, mine. For my KAL That 70s Shawl, I’m using Knitted Wit’s bouncy DK in Redwood and Gates of the Arctic, for a very National Parks’y shawl.

I cast it on Sunday, in the midst of a fabulous day full of friends, family, walks, good food, and so much fun.

There was, of course, reading
