Introducing Mellow Grellow!
This is the perfect project to have in your purse or pack – skinny yarn, fairly mindless knitting, and a fantastic finished object make this a worthwhile investment. I, for one, am almost wishing for cooler days so I can start wearing mine all of the time.
Once I got Donovan’s Mellow Yellow in my head, I couldn’t see any other pattern name option. It is a wonderfully mellow project, so whether you make yours in grellow or grink or blown or rorange, I’m pretty sure you’ll be happy.
It would be fabulous in any lace-weight yarn, but Malabrigo’s Lace is particularly suitable because of the wide color range and low cost. I just so happen to have more Mal Lace in my stash, and I see other iterations of this cowl in my future.
