There is just something about linen stitch and hand-dyed yarn – the way the stitch plays with color is remarkable. This simple scarf lets you play with that special skein in your stash that you’ve been dying to showcase.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: 70″ across, 8.5″ deep at center back, measured after blocking.
  • Yarn: approximately 430 yards fingering-weight yarn. I used Black Trillium Lilt in Patina.
  • Needles: US6/4mm needles for flat knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 22 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
