There is absolutely nothing in the world like knitting a colorful, textural asymmetric triangle shawl. Add a sparkly skein in one of your favorite colors of all time AND a little sixlet rainbow, and knitting happiness is definitely achieved.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Asymmetric triangle: 84”/213 cm x 45”/114 cm x 65”/165 cm, measured after blocking.
  • Yarn: approximately 590 yds/539 m total fingering-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit Pixie Plied (mc, 350 yds/320 m) & a Sixlet of Smarties in a rainbow (ccA-F, 240 yds/219 m total, 40 yds/37 m each).
  • Needles: US5/3.75mm (or size to obtain gauge) circular needle, 24”/60 cm or longer
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 22 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
