You won’t be feeling off-kilter after working this fun knit, in two or three colors. Mesh lace short-row sections and lots of squishy garter stitch make this a fun-to-knit AND wear piece.
Finished Measurements: 60” wide across wingspan; 15.5” deep at center
Yarn: approximately 620 yards fingering-weight yarn total, split between two colors as follows: Color A: 310 yards. Color B: 310 yards. I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts Yaski Fingering, colorways Shoqua (color A), Ochroid (color B) & Limestone (color C) (Blue/yellow/green version); Winter Blues (color A) & Boysenberry (color B) (Grey-blue/pink version); and Chana Masala (color A) & Vancouver Violet (color B). If you make a three-color version, you’ll substitute color C for color B in Clue 4. You’ll need approximately 100 yards of color C (and therefore 100 yards less of color B).
Needles: US3/3.25mm circular needle, 24” or 32”, or size needed to get gauge.
Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 24 sts = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, measured after blocking.
