Crisp twisted ribbing plus squishy garter stitch equals a really pleasing little pair of fingerless mitts. Made in a long-color-changing gradient yarn, these are super-special.


  • Finished Measurements: 7″ long, 7″ circumference (3.5″ across when laid flat) at base of thumb.
  • Yarn: approximately 160 yards fingering-weight yarn. I used Crystal Palace Mini Mochi, colorway Tapestry Rainbow.
  • Needles: US2/3mm needle for small-cirucmference knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 30 stitches = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round, after blocking.
