Socks on Vacay 2019 update

In Blog, Knittish by ShannonLeave a Comment

OMG, my sock knitting has been really lacking this summer. I was doing so well in late June/early July, until the bad summer things happened, and my knitting desire flew the coop for a while. It’s back, though, and we have another week or so to finish up, so I’m really hoping to get something else done…

In the meantime, however, let’s check in on how many socks I have actually finished, and how many I have started…

I have five pairs finished (the Haleakala Lickity Splits aren’t shown here, because I wore them earlier this summer, so they are in the dirty sock basket), and I did finish another single sock, which I gifted to Lorajean (one Sundae Sock in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park colorway). So, twelve single socks finished for the summer…

And then there are aaaalllll of these started socks. One is a second sock, but so many first socks are staring me in the face. One for Stefan. One for Hazel. Loads for me. How many can I finish before Labor Day?

How about you? Have you socked it up this summer? Share your current sock count with me in the comments!
