You know those times you’re sitting in the sportsball stand, watching your kiddo at ? Or, the times you’re in pick-up line at school? Swim lessons? Birthday parties? Well, these little ditties are the perfect project for all of those times. With a reverse stockinette stitch path up the front, and an easy toe-up design, they are perfect for those little moments when you need to be somewhere, but you don’t actually need to BE there. Steal a moment here and there for you.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Adult small (medium, large): 7.5 (8, 8.5)” foot circumference. Socks shown with a 5″ leg length (measured from top of heel, customizable), folded over.
  • Yarn: approximately 320-400 yards fingering-weight yarn.
  • Needles: US1/2.25mm needle for small-circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 32 sts & 48 rows = 4″/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round, measured after blocking.
