This shawlette is a dream to work – with an interesting stitch pattern, and DK or fingering-weight options, it’ll fly off of your needles and onto your neck.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: 53” wide, 16.5” deep at center.
  • Yarn: DK-weight: approximately 270 yards. I used Knitted Wit Victory DK, colorway Mystic Lagoon. • Fingering-weight: 370 yards. I used Knitted Wit Victory Fingering, colorway Amazonite.
  • Needles: DK-weight: US6/4mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge. • Fingering-weight: US4/3.5mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: DK-weight: 18 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking. • Fingering-weight: 24 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
