Beach Agate Sweater

Take a walk on the beach searching for treasures while wearing this fun and simple sweater. It’s a three-season piece, sure to make you feel fabulous, whether or not you walk off the beach with a hand full of agates.

Materials

  • Finished bust sizes: 30, [32, 36, 40, 44, 50, 54]”. Shown worn with 2” positive ease on Shannon. Measured after blocking.
  • Yarn: approximately 950 (1000, 1050, 1175, 1300, 1430, 1575, 1800) yards worsted-weight yarn. I used Malabrigo Rios, colorways Piedras.
  • Needles: US7/4.5mm circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 19 sts & 27 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking.
