Luna’s Mitts

These mitts use the same stitch pattern as the Bobo’s Socks, and are perfect for those early-morning strolls with your pup. The meditative stitching and the Luna-inspired colorway make these a rainbow-lover’s dream to make and wear.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: Small (Medium, Large): 7 (8, 9)“/ 18 (20.5, 23) cm, measured from cast-on edge to bind-off edge; 6.75 (8, 9.25)”/17 (20.5, 23.5) cm circumference at base of thumb.
  • Yarn: approximately 180 (200, 220) yards/165 (183, 201) m DK-weight yarn. I used Knitted Wit DK in Little Luna.
  • Needles: US5/3.75mm needle for small-circumference knitting, or size needed to get gauge. I use a 32” circular for magic-loop knitting.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 20 sts & 32 Rs= 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round, measured after blocking. 24 sts & 45 Rs = 4”/10 cm in pattern in the round, measured after blocking.
