Garter stitch and rustic yarns are always a knitting win, so the Rustic Shawl was born.

Materials

  • Finished Measurements: 52” wide, 22” deep at middle.
  • Yarn: approximately 450 yards fingering- or sport-weight yarn. I used Imperial Stock Ranch Tracie in Pearl Grey.
  • Needles: US5/3.75mm circular 24” or longer, or size needed to get gauge.
  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 22 stitches = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking.
