Another Uni-horn Magic Shawl seems to have fallen off of my needles this winter. I started it in November, and just kind of worked on it when I needed my mind to be working on different things, or when I couldn’t muster the brain-power to do actual designing. It was the perfect salve for the non-stop-ed-ness that is a busy winter, and when I finished it, I was kind of surprised that it was actually done.
This one is in Woolen Boon Boone Classic in Buffy and Platypus Prime. I love the super-subtle differences in the colorways, and how very softly-focused the finished shawl turned out to be. It’s quite different than my more vibrant Uni-horn Magic Shawls, and is a fabulous addition to my tower of shawls.
If you’re looking for a fun and quick excuse to use two skeins of fingering-weight yarn, you really can’t go wrong with this shawl. It’s fun, fast, and super duper wearable.
