Introducing… Muriel’s Shawl

In Blog, Knittish by ShannonLeave a Comment

I’ve released the second pattern in the second year of the League of Busy B’s, and, once again, I’m pleased as punch.

Muriel’s Shawl

Muriel’s Shawl is a great shape – long arms for fabulous wrappability, not too deep, great big holes for a really dramatic look, but easy-breezy to knit, with memorizable components. Just the thing for me, really.

NanoStitch Lab is my partner in crime for this one, and their Subatomic Singles yarn base is perfection. A single-ply that takes their fantastic colorways like a dream, I loved every stitch of this knit. I can’t wait to get my second one casted on, in a green-grey combo called Reptilia.

If you have yet to join the League, hop to it, because there’s a 15% discount on the yarn to make it, offered by the dyers. That is in effect until the 2nd of September, and they have a few fabulous colors left. Me? I’m going to try to get the League pattern the third finished before cast-on day so I can knit this shawl with all y’all. September 7th is the official cast-on day…
