Pen & Paper Society

The Pen & Paper Society began in 2016 when Debbi Stone, Lorajean, and I fell hard for a Hobonichi Cousin planner we saw in the hands of an LYS owner at the winter trade show in San Diego. That was it for all of us; we began to amass planners and pens and paper and pencils and everything we could. We had monthly meetings at the old Knitted Wit studio, sharing what we’d purchased, trading fun gifties with each other, and just plain having the time of our lives. That year, at the Rose City Yarn Crawl, we talked about ordering from Hobonichi the entire day. It was magical… and that love of all things paper/pen has held true through these last 4 years.

Finally, we are able to more formally celebrate our love of all things planner and paper by sharing our Pen & Paper Society swag! We have an enamel pin, a vinyl sticker, and washi. You can even get a FUNdle with all three for a special price! Join the society! Fall down the stationary rabbit hole with us! (and, there is definitely more P&P Society talk at our ShannaJean Space, so be sure to join).

But also, here’s the thing: the Pen & Paper Society is more a state of mind than a real, actual organization. Anyone who has a love for pens and paper, who is obsessed with planners and stickers, who loves writing more than typing, is a member, whether they know they are or not. We would love for you to share your love of all things pen and paper with us, and we would adore it if you represented our mutual love by sporting a pin or a sticker, or by using the washi tape in your planner, but just being a part of the analog community and putting pen to paper is enough for us.
